All team members must a student or graduate students at your school. College Team Captains/leaders need to register team on-line and receive approval before teams members can sign-up. Make sure you select "college" for type of team. There will be a College Challange Cup awarded to the winning team. All members of team will receive a custom race medal. Any number of students can register for your team. Winning team will be based on the combined times of the first 100 finishers. The team with the lowest time will be declared the winners! The team with the largest number of finishers will also receive an award.
Team Captains/leaders will receive a confirmation that your team creation request is approved within 24 hours. It is recommended that each school have several team leaders sharing the same user ID and passord to recruit team members. College team leaders will be required to collect entries from fellow students and to enter college team members once payment is received.
Instruct your fellow team captains/leaders to:
- Go to www.cvsdowntown5k.com
- Select "Register Online"
- Select "Team Member"
- Enter the username/password that your captain/leader created for your team.
Keep you userid and password simple. Consider your email for a userid and then a simple password with no special characters.
- Complete the team member form.
It's that easy.
College Teams Payment
Special college rate is $15 per entry. All college team entrants will receive T-shirt, goody bag and refreshments after the race. Your team will be billed electronically by the Downtown 5K. One team leader should collect all payments when bill is received and mail to address shown on invoice.
